The introduction and application of flexible printed circuit board

FPCB is short for Flexible Printed Circuit Board, also called soft board or FPC in intra-industry. FPCB is the PCB that made by flexible insulated base material (mainly is polyimide or polyester film), which has many advantages that rigid PCB doesn't have; e.g. it can bend freely, wind or fold.

FPC can greatly reduce electronic products' volume, which meets the needs that electronic products tending to the development of high density, miniaturization and high reliability. Thus FPC is widely used in space,flight, military, mobile communication, portable computer, computer peripheral, PDA, digital camera and other fileds or products.
