Conflict Metal means metals of gold (Au), tantalum (Ta), tungsten (W), cobalt(Co), tin (Sn) and so on are derived from or sourced from mines in conflict areas of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), or illegally taxed on trade routes, either of which are controlled by non-governmental military groups, or unlawful military factions.
Flytop Circuit Limited banned to use conflict metals and expects our suppliers to comply with the Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition (EICC) Code of Conduct and to only source materials from environmentally and socially responsible suppliers and require all vendors purchase and use conflict-free metals, and priority source from smelters listed in
EICC-GeSI Conflict-Free Smelter(CFS).
In support of this, Flytop will commit to :
Requesting that our suppliers report to Flytop immediately if there is conflict metal used in item supplied to JCET.
Requesting that our suppliers undertake commercially reasonable due diligence with their supply chain and provide the necessary evidence material to assure that metals used in items supplied to JCET are not sourced from mines in conflict areas.
